Between the Layers

In Between the Layers, Theresa Kraft explores the subtle interplay between the visible and the hidden. In muted tones, using pigments, acrylic, and egg tempera, she creates layered surfaces in which certain areas are deliberately left bare. This openness contrasts with delicate structures and fine scratches that reveal a quiet depth.

Each layer is part of a gentle dialogue – between revelation and restraint, closeness and distance. The works invite the viewer to enter the spaces in between, to pause, and to sense what cannot be captured in words.
